Subscription and refunds

One subscription covers everyone helping to look after your relative, however many of you there are and however many people you care for. Prices include VAT.

Your first 14 days

14 days free, on either plan

Nothing is taken until the trial is over, and you can stop it at any point before then. We ask for a payment method so the subscription can start by itself if you decide to stay — not so we can charge you early.
  • 14 days of the whole app, free. Every feature, no limits, nothing held back for paying subscribers.
  • Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged. We will not ask you why.
  • If you do nothing, the plan you chose starts when the 14 days are up, at the price shown when you signed up.
  • One trial per person. Starting a second circle does not start a second trial.

Paying monthly

  • £1.99 a month, including VAT.
  • Cancel any time, from the Subscription screen or by emailing us.
  • Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep full access until the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing further is taken.
  • Part-months are not refunded, because cancelling never cuts your access short.

Paying yearly

  • £19.99 a year, including VAT — cheaper than twelve monthly payments.
  • Cancel any time and it simply does not renew. You keep full access to the end of the year you have paid for.
  • Because the trial is 14 days of the real thing, there is no part-year refund after that: you will already know whether KinCareCircle is for you before anything is taken.

How refunds are paid

  • Where a refund is due, it goes back to the card or bank account the subscription was paid from. We cannot send it anywhere else.
  • If that card has expired or the account is closed, your bank will normally still route the refund to its replacement. Where it cannot, we will ask you for current details before paying.
  • Refunds usually reach the account within five to ten working days of being sent, depending on the bank.

How to cancel

  1. 1Open Subscription and cancel there, or write to us and ask — either counts.
  2. 2During the trial that is the whole of it. Nothing has been taken, so there is nothing to refund.
  3. 3After the trial, cancelling stops the next payment. Keep using KinCareCircle to the end of the period you have paid for — nothing is switched off early.
  4. 4Ask us before you go and we will send you everything the circle holds, as a file you can keep or take to a GP.

Your rights either way

Nothing on this page takes away the rights you have under UK consumer law, including the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of taking it out. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.

KinCareCircle is free while it is being built, and no payment is taken yet. These are the terms that apply from the day subscriptions open.
