Terms
The short version: KinCareCircle helps you organise care and remembers what you tell it. It does not decide anything, and it is not a substitute for a clinician.

KinCareCircle is still being built and is not accepting subscriptions. These terms cover using kincarecircle.co.uk and the preview of the app, and will apply to the service itself when it opens.
What this is
KinCareCircle is a tool for organising the care of one person among the people who look after them. It records what you put into it. It is not a care provider, not a medical device, not a medical record, and not part of the NHS.It does not give advice
Nothing in the app is medical, legal or financial advice, and nothing in it should be acted on as though it were. For anything clinical, speak to a GP, a pharmacist or NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.Check before you act
Medication times, doses and allergies are whatever somebody typed in. We do not verify them against a prescription and we cannot. Before giving anything, check the label — the app is a shared memory, not an authority.Who may use it
You must be 18 or over, and you must have a genuine role in caring for the person whose details you record. Putting somebody's health information into this app when you have no business doing so is a misuse of it.What you are responsible for
What you record, who you invite into a circle, and keeping your account to yourself. If you invite someone, you are giving them access to the information in that circle. What we are responsible for
Running the service with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires. We cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we are not liable for decisions made on the strength of what somebody entered into it.Keeping your own copies
Until shared circles arrive, everything is on your device and nowhere else. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and we cannot recover it. Export anything you would mind losing, and keep the originals of documents you cannot replace.Ending it
You can stop using the app whenever you like, and delete what it holds. We may end your access if the app is being misused — we will tell you why.Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.
The other pages that bind us
How we handle information is set out in the privacy notice, and what a subscription costs and how to end one is on the subscription and refunds page. Both form part of these terms.
